Cancel at least 48 hours before your hike for a full refund. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours. If rain or poor visibility is expected, you'll be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule. You'll be notified 24 hours before your hike if it is canceled for weather.

If parking is unavailable at Great Head Trail, Island Explorer shuttles are available from Hulls Cove Visitor Center.
Dress in layers, as Maine weather can vary throughout the year. Bring at least one bottle of water per person. Insect repellent is recommended: ticks are present in the park, and mosquitoes may be too.
