Important details
- Arrive 15 minutes before your rental time
- Ages 14+ only; riders must confidently ride a bicycle
- Adult bikes fit riders 5'2"–6'2" and have a 275 lb weight limit
- A valid Acadia National Park pass is required to ride the carriage roads
- Wear a provided helmet at all times and secure shoes; flip-flops, slides, and bare feet are not allowed
- Ride only on Acadia's carriage roads and Park Loop Road; e-bikes are not allowed on Cadillac Mountain, hiking trails, or private carriage roads
- All rides begin and end at the shop; bikes cannot be transported by vehicle
- Return your bike by the end of the rental period; a $50 per-bike late fee, not included in the listed price, applies to late returns
- Throttle functions are disabled and the e-bike tops out at 12 mph; re-engaging the throttle results in a $350 fine not included in the listed price
- You are responsible for bike damage beyond the included $250 coverage
- Alcohol and drugs are prohibited; do not ride recklessly, modify the e-bike, or use a phone while riding
- Report all crashes and incidents to staff
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or change at least 48 hours before your reservation. No refunds within 48 hours unless your bike is re-rented; if it is re-rented, you will receive an email confirming the refund.

Watch the bike and map/navigation orientation videos before you arrive for your e-bike rental, then let staff know you have completed them.
Wear athletic, quick-dry or layered clothing and secure shoes. Avoid denim, cotton, flip-flops, slides, and bare feet. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, bug spray, and a camera; consider a windbreaker or rain jacket on cooler days.
No refund is issued if you arrive and are unable to ride.
