Learn to explore wreck interiors with advanced diving techniques
1 Day
Classroom, pool skills, 2 dives
Take your wreck diving training beyond the exterior and develop techniques for exploring wreck interiors. Complete the program to earn an SSI Advanced Wreck Diving specialty certification.
Upon completion of your academic materials prior to your arrival, we will conduct a short classroom academic review of the safety concerns while performing a penetration wreck dive after which we will conduct a land based practical application for "laying line" and a short skills review in the pool to refresh the appropriate skills that are necessary for this course. In the afternoon we will conduct 2 training dives on our local wreck to put your skills to the test.
No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before course start. Cancellations more than 7 days before may receive a 50% refund. You may reschedule at no cost, subject to boat trip and instructor availability. Courses not rescheduled and completed within 1 year of booking may be canceled without refund.

Boat trips depend on safe weather conditions. If needed, training may take place at alternate open-water sites instead of Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary.
You'll receive a separate email with additional course information and your schedule. If applicable, SSI will also email your online academic materials.

Great crew with Captain Katie, Dive Master Allison, and Guide and Dive Master Jim. Captain slowed and stopped boat to observe pod of dolphins and multiple turtles on the way out and back. Jim did a great job in finding and pointing out fish. Conditions were great with no current and waves. Like diving in a swimming pool. Multiple tropical fish. Saw Caribbean reef shark.
