Oahu Turtle Snorkel Safari in Waianae

AN ABSOLUTE BLESSING IN DISGUISE & AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE WITH DOLPHIN EXCURSIONS HAWAII We recently visited Oahu for a week (from June 8th to June 15th, 2026). While awaiting our flight to Hawaii, we were looking up things to do and found Dolphin Excursions Hawaii, so we booked an excursion for June 9th. However, right as we were boarding our flight, we realized we needed to try and change our booking to a later date due to a health issue. With spotty airplane connectivity, we quickly emailed Dolphin Excursions to see if we could reschedule. EXCEPTIONAL CARE & LOCAL CONNECTION! The next morning, we connected with Lisa regarding our request. Although they have a strict cancellation policy, during the conversation, I mentioned that I was born in Honolulu, raised in Waianae, and had only moved to North Las Vegas in 2021. As soon as she realized my deep roots in the community, the response was incredibly warm. She checked with the owner and texted us back and they kindly accommodated us and moved our excursion to Friday, June 12th, at 7:00 AM. A DAY OF ENDLESS BLESSINGS! Moving the trip turned out to be a massive blessing in disguise. The weather had been terrible for weeks prior, and another storm was on the horizon, but Friday opened up into a perfectly gorgeous day. I got to view the beautiful community of Makaha—where I was raised—from the perspective of the ocean for the very first time in my life. The ocean came alive for us, and we captured some incredible moments including the underwater video and Captain Jenna caught an spectacular surface view from the boat. We saw: • Vibrant coral reefs and reef fish • Sea urchins • A young monk seal • Sea turtles off Makaha Beach • Playful spinner dolphins THE ULTIMATE HIGHLIGHT: A breathtaking, rare encounter with a massive whale shark! It was majestic and tranquil, swimming right alongside this gentle giant. MAHALO TO AN INCREDIBLE CREW! We cannot thank the team enough for making this trip so magical. Your experience and friendliness shone through, especially when you navigated us swiftly to see the whale shark at about 3,000 feet. You made it all happen for us and we truly appreciate what you do and the way you do it! Crew Member (Angie): Thank you for catering to our every need both in and out of the water. You kept us feeling completely safe while ensuring we had the time of our lives.
