The cafe here gets mixed reactions, but most visitors find it surprisingly decent for an island spot. When it's actually open (typically summer months, 10-3), you'll find a solid menu with customizable sandwiches, salads, nachos, and even oysters with beer. Several reviewers mention the food exceeded their expectations, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The staff earns praise for being friendly and attentive, and one reviewer even highlighted how responsive the owner was in addressing concerns. Do note that timing and availability can be tricky. Several visitors report the cafe being closed outside peak season, even when online sources show it as open. If you're coming as part of a tour with a tight ferry schedule, the wait times can add stress to an otherwise relaxing visit. The seating area offers lovely views of the cove, though it can fill up quickly when boats arrive. The tram tour around the island gets less enthusiasm, with one visitor noting the loud engine and poor audio quality made it hard to enjoy.
The place is very nice and cozy. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is SO GOOD and the coffee is the best!
