- Children under 13 require a parent or guardian participating alongside them in the deep-water program and any optional horseback excursion
- The waterfall visit requires walking approximately 0.5 miles over paved and sandy surfaces, including inclines, with extended periods of standing
- If you need special assistance, participation requires a companion able to provide it

Snorkeling and swimming require particular caution with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or other medical conditions, especially in high winds, waves or currents. Wear light clothing and bring walking shoes for the waterfall walk. Pack a towel, biodegradable sun protection, a hat and sunglasses. Bring a waterproof camera if you'd like photos, and leave valuables behind.
