Highlights
Develop the practical knowledge needed for coastal cruising aboard a 30-foot Hunter 30T. Practice navigation, sail handling, anchoring, and onboard systems while preparing for ASA 103 certification.

- Operate an inboard diesel engine and understand AC and DC systems

Important details
- ASA 101 completion or special permission from a Sail Monterey instructor is required before enrolling
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before the 10:00am class start each day
- Bring the ASA "Coastal Cruising Made Easy" course book and read it before the course begins
- Wear layered clothing with a waterproof or water-resistant outer layer and flat, white-soled shoes
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 14 days before the first class day to be eligible for a refund. Late or absent students receive no refund. If the instructor cancels due to weather or maintenance, a refund, rescheduling, or another suitable solution is offered.
