We’ve been coming down to the beach area for years and have done self-guided kayaking trips before, but this was a completely different experience. When we’ve gone out on our own, it can start to feel a little monotonous after 15 or 20 minutes because you don’t really know where the best places are to go, what you should be looking for, or what’s happening around you. Coastal Kayak made the entire trip feel like an actual adventure. Having a guide pointing out wildlife, explaining the different species, and showing us the best areas to explore made the two hours fly by. We saw fish jumping out of the water, larger fish splashing around, plenty of different birds, and even a pod of dolphins swimming through the bay. Our guide did a great job explaining what we were seeing and how the different animals interact with the environment, which made the experience so much more interesting than simply paddling around on our own. It was relaxing, fun, educational, and one of those experiences where you’re constantly looking around to see what you might spot next. I would absolutely recommend Coastal Kayak to anyone visiting the beach area, and it’s something we would definitely do again.
