60 minutes which includes 45 minutes of ride time
ATV ride, helmets, eye protection
Ride your own 4-wheel ATV across oceanfront farm trails on O‘ahu’s North Shore, then help restore the shoreline by choosing and planting a native Hawaiian plant. Along the way, meet the farm animal ohana (family) on this local, family-owned property.
Ride time is about 45 minutes within a 60-minute experience. Covered shoes and a helmet are required (helmet provided). Driver and passenger ages vary by ATV size; passengers must be 8+ and can ride only on Large ATVs.
Full refund with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price. Re-booking fee of $40 per person.
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation time. The tour departs at your exact reservation time, and you may be asked to reschedule if you cannot arrive 30 minutes early.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (the farm can be dusty or muddy) and wear covered shoes. Bring a change of clothes to re-enter your vehicle; a towel is recommended if you want to hose off after the ride. Bring a water bottle—filtered cold water is available to fill it.
Wear a helmet during the ride; a helmet and eye protection are provided. Do not use your cell phone on the ATV, and do not bring backpacks, bags, or bulky camera equipment on the ATV.

North Shore Stables delivers an ATV adventure that consistently blows visitors away with its mix of thrills and local charm. What sets this experience apart is how they've woven together multiple elements: you're not just riding ATVs on dirt tracks and coastal trails with ocean views, you're also stopping to feed friendly farm animals (definitely spring for the bucket of feed, according to multiple guests), learning about the land's history and Hawaiian mo'olelo, and some tours even include planting something on the beach. The guides, particularly Kamuela who gets called out by name, bring genuine aloha and deep knowledge to the experience, making everyone feel welcome whether it's their first time on an ATV or not. The property itself, which sits on former Dole Plantation land, offers stunning oceanfront scenery that guests rave about. The pacing strikes a nice balance: this is a guided "follow the leader" tour that keeps things safe and accessible (around 10 mph through trails), but you'll still get chances to open up the throttle on certain sections. Thoughtful touches like complimentary water and cold towels after the ride show they care about comfort. With an overwhelming number of five-star experiences, this appears to be one of those rare activities that appeals to adrenaline seekers and nature lovers alike, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to do something memorable on Oahu's North Shore.
