You must be 21+ with valid ID to consume alcohol; children must be 12+ on ticketed public tours. No alcohol may be consumed before horse farm or cooperage tours. Vehicles are non-smoking and weapons are prohibited; small coolers (12x12 or smaller) are allowed on public tours.
Are there age restrictions on bourbon tours?
To drink in Kentucky, you must be 21 with a valid ID. Underage guests can tour without tasting. For ticketed public bourbon tours, children must be 12 or older.
Do I have to drink on a bourbon tour?
No. Many guests choose not to taste and still enjoy the history and craftsmanship of bourbon.
What kind of vehicles do you use for tours?
Most public bourbon tours travel in comfortable 22-passenger buses.
Can I bring alcohol on the tour bus?
Yes. You may bring a cooler (12x12 or smaller) with snacks and beverages; you must be 21 to consume alcohol. Ice and bottled water are provided.
Is it customary to tip the tour guide or driver?
Gratuity is always appreciated and at your discretion.
Where should I park for tours departing from the Omni Hotel?
Park in the Omni Parking Garage or the Starks Garage, both across the street from the Omni Hotel.
Payment is due at booking. Reservations are non-refundable. Cancellations less than 5 days before the tour are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. Tickets are valid only for the date purchased.
