30-Minute Carriage Tour of Hermann Farm

Ride behind Black Shire draft horses as your driver shares the farm’s history and the role of draft horses. Take in historic dwellings and countryside from an open-air carriage.

Important details

• Arrive 15 minutes before departure
• Use the east entrance and provided map to reach the departure point
• Arrange your own transportation; the ride does not depart from the Museum on E 1st Street
• Dress for open-air conditions; the carriage has a roof but open sides
• Sign a separate waiver for each participant; a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18
• Ages 3+ only
