Cruise Oahu’s west coast to watch dolphins, snorkel, and use the water slide
3 hours
Lunch, snorkel gear, transport
Set sail on a 3-hour catamaran tour from Waianae to look for wild Hawaiian spinner dolphins, then stop to snorkel and enjoy on-the-water activities. Ride the 21-foot water slide, relax on a double-decker boat with shade and restrooms, and refuel with lunch on board.
Dolphins are wild animals, so sightings are not guaranteed. If no dolphins are spotted, you can join the next available tour at 50% off. Wetsuit rental is available for an extra charge ($10 adult, $5 child).
Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the tour. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price. With a doctor's note, you can receive a full refund after the cancellation period (applies to the person with the note).
Check in 30 minutes before departure.
Yes. The duration can run longer depending on the dolphins, so avoid planning a tight schedule right after the boat tour.
Lunch is a turkey sandwich or a veggie wrap. Share your preference by 8:00 PM HST the night before your tour; if you don’t, you’ll receive a turkey sandwich. If you have dietary or allergy restrictions, bring your own lunch.

This is clearly a standout dolphin snorkeling experience that visitors are raving about, often calling it the highlight of their Hawaii trip. The enthusiasm in these reviews is palpable, with people describing it as a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and a dream come true. What makes this tour special isn't just the incredible wildlife encounters (dolphins, sea turtles, and tropical fish against a backdrop of stunning mountain views), but the crew who genuinely seem to elevate the entire experience. Captain Jason, Captain Steph, Drew, Ryuichi, Yuya, Yuji, Minako, Tim, Travis, Lucas, and Koa all get enthusiastic shout-outs for their energy, expertise, and ability to make everyone feel safe and entertained. Families love it here, including large groups of nine who all got to swim with dolphins together. First-time snorkelers consistently mention feeling well-cared-for and confident in the water thanks to the attentive staff. The speedboat option seems particularly popular for those wanting a more intimate experience with quicker access to dolphin sightings. Japanese-speaking visitors specifically appreciate having crew members who can provide translation and communicate in their language, which clearly adds comfort and enhances the experience. There's a recurring theme of people already planning their return visit before they've even left, which tells you everything you need to know about whether this tour delivers on its promises.
Great tour! There were so many dolphins swimming around us. We also saw turtles and fish. The crew was great, very helpful and kind. You also get a nice view of the mountains, good food and drinks, your own fins, a slide! (anything you need to have a great time). Shoutout to Shanti, Koa, Keona, Amelie, Ryan, Wylie, and Kei from the Poseidon boat!
