Cave Lakes Canyon Ranch
This quirky little cave museum near Kanab is a genuine crowd-pleaser for travelers who love offbeat roadside stops. Visitors rave about the fluorescent rock displays, local history, and the genuinely welcoming staff and owners. There's even a small coffee shop on site, which makes it a solid pit stop on a long drive through southern Utah. A handful of visitors felt the experience leaned more toward gift shop than museum, so it's worth going in with the right expectations. Think of it as a fun, affordable curiosity rather than a deep dive into cave exploration. Families especially seem to enjoy it, with kids gravitating toward the souvenir shop and the cave atmosphere keeping things memorable year after year.
Very enjoyable experience. The history of the place and the amount of interesting stuff inside is unique. Very much enjoyed the collection of rocks and minerals that react to black light..
