• Operators must be 18+ and present a valid driver's license at check-in; ID cards and passports are not accepted
• Operators need a basic understanding of English
• Operators must meet Virginia boating-safety education requirements; a brief safety course is available on arrival for those without an approved course
• Remain within Chincoteague Bay and operate sober
• All participants must be present at check-in and sign the Boat Check Sheet before departure
• Maximum total weight is approximately 600 lbs per boat
• A refundable $500 security-deposit hold is authorized on your card before departure and released after the rental if no damage occurs; it is not included in the listed price
