Chocolate Making & Box Painting Workshop in Santa Barbara

Explore chocolate making and box design in a small-batch craft chocolate factory. Work at your group's own table and turn your flavor ideas and artwork into something to keep or give as a gift.

Itinerary

In our little, hidden Craft Chocolate Factory we hold Chocolate & Art Box Making Workshops. As you step into the shoes of a chocolate Bar and Box designer, you will experience a very up close look at what it looks like to own your own Chocolate Shop. First you'll choose your packaging (different size wooden boxes or wooden tiles) and then we will pour your choice of Menchaca's Craft Chocolate Milk (oat milk), Dark and special white into the molds that fit your size box. We have 30 inclusions choices you can drop into the back of the molds, creating your own flavored chocolate. As the chocolate is setting up you can decorate your box using paint, inks embellishments, stencils, washi tape and stamps. This is self-paced so feel free to get into it. Then you'll pop out your bars, choose your colored foil, wrap them up and put it all together for a handmade, one of a kind Box of Chocolates, made by you! (or give it as a gift to someone special!)

Important details

• Children require one supervising adult each. Some art supplies are not suitable for children under 7.
• Supervise children closely around the spinning machines and art supplies.
