Itinerary

1. Begin at the meeting point and complete Segway instruction and practice (15–20 minutes).
2. Travel along the lakeshore past picturesque homes and local beaches, through McEuen Park and onto the Centennial Trail.
3. Pass through the Coeur d'Alene Resort and its floating boardwalk, then continue toward City Park, City Beach and the shoreline areas.
4. Visit the remaining Fort Sherman structures, including the Officer Quarters, Magazine Room and Military Chapel (built in 1908).
5. Visit the restored Carousel from Playland Pier (over 100 years old).
6. Return to downtown to see Roosevelt School and the old Northern Pacific Railroad Depot.
7. Finish by returning through McEuen Park, visiting the Tribute Statues and traveling through local neighborhoods to the starting point.
