Important details
- Ages 12+ only
- Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time
- Bring sunscreen and a towel; wear a swimsuit under your wetsuit if preferred
- Participate sober; visible intoxication or suspected drug use may prevent participation
- Lessons operate only when the beach is open under San Diego County water-quality protocols
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund with at least 48 hours' notice of cancellation. No-shows are charged the full price. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

The group surf lesson requires swimming comfortably in the ocean without assistance or a lifejacket. Non-swimmers require a private 1:1 lesson.
Jamie O'Brien owns and operates the surf school but does not teach or guide lessons. Your group surf lesson is led by an instructor selected by Jamie.
