Children under 2 years old will be denied boarding due to safety reasons. A captain gratuity of 20% or more is customary (you can tip when booking or the day of the excursion). Penalty fees may apply: $100 for bodily fluids requiring cleaning and sanitizing, and $500 if a passenger delays departure back to the dock.
Cancel 48+ hours before departure for a full refund minus an $8.00 processing fee. Under 48 hours: no full refund. If the captain cancels for inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, you can reschedule or cancel at no charge then; may provide a full refund if unable to reschedule.
Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in (plan 15–20 minutes early to allow for parking and finding the dock). If you’re late, the captain will try to reach you; if there’s no answer, the boat will leave 10 minutes after the scheduled departure time and no refunds will be issued.

Captain Harry and his wife Lesli have built something genuinely special here. Guests consistently describe them as warm, knowledgeable, and safety-focused, with many noting it feels more like spending the day with friends than a commercial tour. Harry's a certified Merchant Marine captain who clearly knows these waters inside and out. Multiple reviewers mention his keen eye for spotting dolphins and his ability to position the boat for incredible wildlife encounters. The intimate group size (up to 6 people) gets praised repeatedly for making the experience feel personal rather than crowded. The trips to Crab Island come loaded with equipment—paddle boards, floating mats, chairs, snorkel gear, and even speakers—so you can just bring your food and drinks and enjoy. What really stands out though is Harry's attention to safety and genuine care for people. Several reviews describe him rescuing another family caught in a dangerous current, and guests were moved by his quick thinking and humanity. Whether weather turns the sunset cruise foggy or rain interrupts your afternoon, this couple adapts gracefully and keeps the experience enjoyable. Return customers are common, with some booking multiple trips during a single vacation.
This is my second time around with them and it’s always is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Came here last year with my husband, and then this year with my friends, and they all agree (plus myself) that this is the best part of the trip. Captain Harry is always accomodating and super nice. Included with the tour are kayak, lily pad, hangout chairs (4), speaker, and if you forgot your koozie, they have some too. Make sure you bring your favorite beer, because it taste wayyyy better once your soaking in the sun and water.
