Crocodile Encounter: 23231 County Road 48 Angleton, TX 77515 US
This spot earns its high marks across the board, with families, school groups, and first-time visitors all walking away impressed. The guided tours are a genuine highlight, with guides like Charlie and Julie consistently praised for their knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to get the animals active and engaged. Several reviewers noted they were surprised by just how much there was to see and do. It's an outdoor, walkable experience built around bridges and exhibits, so leave the pop-up stroller at home and pack some water and snacks. Groups are staggered thoughtfully to keep things from feeling crowded, and the add-ons like feeding the crocs or holding a baby are well worth it according to most visitors. The vibe here is relaxed, well-organized, and genuinely fun for all ages. Kids come home rattling off crocodile facts, adults leave equally entertained, and the staff seems to genuinely love what they do. If you're in Texas and looking for something a little different, this one delivers.
So fun! Crazy to see these creatures up close.
