Clear-kayak at sunset, then switch on lights to glow over Crystal River springs
2.5 Hours
Clear kayak, guide, life vest
Explore Crystal River in an all-clear tandem kayak as you look for manatees and other wildlife, then watch the sunset on Kings Bay. After dark, turn on your kayak lights and glide over glowing clear water.
Operates November 15 through March 31, and Three Sisters Springs is closed during this time so you will not kayak inside it. No swimming and no shoes allowed on the clear kayaks. All-clear kayaks are tandem; each guest must be under 250 lb and paired guests must be under 425 lb total, with age 3+ and an adult (18+) required for minors.
Extra fees apply: a $7.50 per person launch fee is charged at checkout, and a $10 parking fee is paid upon arrival.
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not give 24 hours notice, there is no reschedule, refund, or credit. Arrive 30 minutes early; arriving at start time may cause you to miss your tour.

Guides like Jax, Cyprus, John, and Ayana are name-dropped constantly in these reviews, which tells you something about how personally invested the staff are in making tours memorable. Jax in particular gets praised for her wildlife knowledge and the genuine care she brings to the experience, setting realistic expectations while somehow delivering more than promised. That combination of expertise and warmth seems to be the standard here, not the exception. The tours center around the Three Sisters Springs area, where paddlers encounter manatees, turtles, and the occasional alligator in crystal-clear water. There are even nighttime glow tours for those wanting something a little different. The operation runs smoothly, with a quick and easy sign-in process and guides who keep groups together and moving without making it feel rushed. With a near-perfect rating across thousands of reviews, the consistency here is hard to argue with. This works well for all skill levels, the natural setting is genuinely stunning, and the staff clearly love what they do. If you're visiting the area and want a water-based wildlife experience that feels intimate rather than touristy, this one is worth putting at the top of your list.
They have parking ($10) and a boat launch fee ($5) AND great guides and an awesome gift shop with friendly, helpful people and they run on time. Best of all our guide kept us moving together, kayaking down beautiful waterways with many manatees along the way. The Three Sisters Spring area was incredible, we went swimming in the most natural and crystal clear waters with several grottos? I don’t know but this was the highlight of our 78th Birthday trip for my husband.
