The enthusiasm in these reviews is palpable, with guests consistently describing their manatee encounters as magical and unforgettable. What stands out most is how well the team balances education with pure enjoyment. Guides like Dakota, Juan, Keith, and Leah earn repeated praise for their wildlife knowledge, safety awareness, and genuine care for protecting the manatees while ensuring close encounters. International visitors appreciate the comprehensive approach, noting excellent equipment, thoughtful warmth measures like blankets and hot chocolate, and professional photography so guests can focus on the experience itself. The personal touch makes a real difference here. Guides adapt to individual needs, from helping a special needs child feel comfortable in the water to patiently assisting nervous snorkelers throughout the swim. The humor and personality of the staff shine through alongside their professionalism. Several reviewers mention learning about local history and conservation efforts, appreciating that this goes beyond just a tourist activity. The chilly early morning departures pay off with prime manatee viewing, and the team clearly knows how to make guests comfortable despite the cold.
Highly recommend these guys to get you up close and personal with the manatees! Juan and Ralph took great care of us and made sure we had the best experience! Both are knowledgeable about the manatees and all of the wildlife in the area. They take care of all the photos so you can just concentrate on the experience. It was a pretty chilly morning, which was prime time to catch the manatees, but blankets and hot chocolate when we got back on the boat made it perfect! Stay at the Days Inn right behind the shop for a carefree early morning start!
