Yes. The trip may close when temperatures are low and rain is forecast for most of the day because of hypothermia concerns. Some river sections are remote and difficult to access, which can delay assistance.
Dress in layers, and bring a towel and dry clothes so you can dry off if you get wet. Bring protective rain gear if rain is expected. Dry bags are available to rent for storing your towel and clothes.
