Learn to breathe underwater on a small-group Honolulu scuba charter
4 Hours
4 or fewer people
Guide, gear rental, 1 dive
Try scuba diving with a PADI Professional on a 4-hour Honolulu charter aboard the Diamond T2. You’ll train on key skills, then make one open-water dive under direct supervision.
You must be at least 10 years old and in reasonable physical health. Complete the PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning and required waivers before arriving. Crew gratuity is not included.
Cancel at least 48 hours before scheduled check-in for a full refund. Less than 48 hours before check-in, no-shows, and missed departures are charged the full charter price. If the operator cancels, choose a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
Complete the required PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning and the medical and liability release forms before you arrive. If you don’t complete the eLearning in advance, you’ll have to reschedule, and if you can’t reschedule there’s no refund.
Arrive by 8:30 AM for morning departures or 1:30 PM for afternoon departures. You’ll also attend a 15-minute orientation and a mandatory boat safety briefing.
Bring a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a water bottle, and motion sickness medication if you need it.
The crew here consistently earns praise for creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere on the water. Guides like Zoe, Daniel, Sam, and Swayze get frequent shoutouts for their knowledge and attentiveness, while Captain Justin and Derek keep things running smoothly. Divers regularly spot octopus, sea turtles, eagle rays, eels, and sharks at sites including the popular Sea Tiger wreck. The team handles everything from discovery dives to advanced certifications, and several reviewers mentioned helpful touches like motion sickness support and optional GoPro photo services that let you focus on the experience rather than documenting it. A couple of concerns surfaced in recent feedback. One reviewer noted frustration with feeling ignored during briefings and questioned some wildlife handling practices by a staff member. Another diver found three trips to the same site repetitive and had issues with boat positioning after a dive. These seem like isolated incidents rather than patterns, but they're worth noting. Overall though, the operation has built a strong reputation with repeat customers who come back specifically for this crew whenever they're in Hawaii.
Has a great 2-dive trip with Derek and Sam. We saw a huge green sea turtle, lots of eels, some octopus, parrot fish, trumpet fish, and got long fives as it was just 2 of us plus guide in the water. Ask in advance for kama’aina discount. Gift shop gave us 20% off as well. Great people. Great experience.
