The crews here seem to genuinely love what they do, and it shows. Captains like Trip, Lee, Henry, and Robert consistently earn praise for keeping boats moving when fishing slows down, staying attentive to everyone on board, and handling everything from cleaning the catch to helping first-timers bait their hooks. Families, birthday celebrations, spring break groups, and fishing clubs all seem to leave happy, with many saying it was the best fishing trip they'd ever taken. One thing worth knowing before you book: weekday trips, particularly dolphin cruises, have occasionally been cancelled due to low passenger counts, sometimes with short notice. A couple of reviewers also flagged inconsistency between boats and crews when rebooking, so if you had a great first experience, it's worth being specific about what you're expecting the second time around. These aren't dealbreakers, but they're good things to keep in mind when planning. For most people, this is a solid choice for a charter fishing experience on the South Carolina coast. The crew quality and fish-finding ability stand out as the real strengths here, and the range of trip options makes it accessible for groups of all sizes and experience levels.
