Important details
- Included insurance coverage requires age 21+. If you're under 21, a motorcycle-endorsed license and your own comprehensive insurance are required.
- A valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement is required. Bring your license and a photo of it. Failure to present a valid motorcycle license on arrival results in cancellation without a refund.
- Fuel is not included in the listed price. Return the motorcycle with a full tank of 92-octane gasoline; otherwise, a separate $25 fuel charge applies.
- You are responsible for the first $5,000 of motorcycle damage, regardless of fault, plus lost rental revenue while the motorcycle is unavailable for repairs or parts. Rental terms also assign responsibility for vandalism and mechanical damage caused by negligent operation or inadequate maintenance.
- Separate charges of $50 each apply for a lost key, flat tire, dead battery, missing registration card or missing no-fault insurance card. A missing license plate costs $125.
- A lost or damaged helmet carries a separate minimum charge of $100, including scratches, dents, scuffs or cracks.
- Tire changes, roadside service, and lost or stolen tools or accessories are your responsibility and are not included in the listed price. Amounts are not specified.
- You are responsible for parking, traffic and other legal fines, as well as claims and related expenses arising from your use of the motorcycle. Violating rental terms can invalidate insurance and result in additional charges or deposit forfeiture.
- Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
- Sign the required waiver before riding; you can sign in person on arrival.
- Keep the motorcycle on Maui. You are the only authorized driver.
- Do not race, ride recklessly, drive under the influence, tow vehicles or trailers, or transport passengers or property for hire.
- Do not carry surfboards, kayaks, canoes or gliders. Attaching equipment or other items requires written permission.
- Check the engine oil level at each refueling. Mechanical failures must be reported immediately.
- An immediate police report is required for any damage; accident reports must be made within 2 hours. Failure to report or cooperate can leave you responsible for rental charges until the motorcycle is recovered. If it is stolen or missing, return the keys to avoid continuing rental charges.
- Lock the motorcycle and remove the keys whenever it is not in use. Inspect it before riding, return it in the same condition apart from ordinary wear, and remove your belongings before returning it.
- All motorcycles are tracked by GPS. The reserved motorcycle may be substituted because of maintenance, and the rental may be terminated with an immediate return required.
- Return the motorcycle by its due date and time. Returns 30 minutes or more late incur a minimum one-hour charge, separate from the listed price. If your late return causes the next reservation to be lost, you are responsible for that reservation's full charges unless an extension was arranged at least 12 hours before your return deadline. Overdue motorcycles are reported to police as missing vehicles.
