Itinerary
Arrival and Check-In: We recommend arriving at the Depot approximately 15-20 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Check in with our friendly railbike crew to kick things off. Once you’re all set, take a moment to enjoy the surroundings. You can engage in a few lawn games, delve into the fascinating history of the Erie Coal Train, or simply relax until your guide crew is ready to welcome you aboard.
Campfire Ghost Story and Orientation: Before setting off, each group will gather around the campfire for an old-fashioned ghost story followed by a short safety orientation prior to heading out to the tracks to board.
Onboard and Rolling: Once everyone is onboard, your knowledgeable guide will get things rolling. Each railbike will be spaced out, allowing everyone ample room to experience the unique lantern ride and spooky scenes along the route.
Turnaround Point: When you reach the turnaround point, hop off your railbike and the spooky story continues around the ghost depot while our crew turns all of the bikes. We load back up for the return departures as soon as the last bike is turned.

Important details
- Weight limit: under 300 lbs
- At least 1 rider age 16+ must operate the brake
- Seatbelts are required for all riders; riders under 5 require a five-point harness
- Pets are not allowed on the railbikes
- Complete a waiver before check-in
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure for check-in and orientation
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the ride, and riders under the influence of alcohol or drugs cannot participate
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before departure. No refunds or rebooking within 14 days. Tours run in rain. If dangerous weather cancels a tour, you'll receive a gift certificate.
