Important details
- At least one actively participating adult age 18+ is required per five children. Adults must stay fully engaged in the hands-on lesson.
- Keep food, drinks, and phones aside during instruction, except when taking photos or videos.
- This lesson serves Destin and Miramar Beach only. Fort Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island locations are not serviceable.
- Lessons cannot take place at Norriego Point, also called Emerald Grande Beach, or Miramar Public Beach Access #49, west of Pompano Joe's. Use an alternative serviceable beach.
- Attend as scheduled if the weather is questionable; your coach determines whether conditions allow the lesson to proceed. Lessons cannot take place at Gulf beaches displaying double red safety flags, which mean the water is closed.
- Arrive on time. The lesson will not begin if you are more than 30 minutes late.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 10 guests.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel in writing at least 48 hours before your lesson for a refund; no refunds with less notice. Lessons continue in light rain. If your coach cancels for weather, rescheduling will be attempted or you'll receive a full refund. The lesson is considered complete after the demonstration. Changes within 48 hours incur a $150 fee.

No. Gratuity for your SandCastle Coach is not included in the listed price. Cash tips are appreciated; 15–25% is typical.
Your coach will text you between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. If weather cancels the entire day, you'll receive an email or text before 9:00 AM. Your coach may also delay your lesson by up to 30 minutes to allow bad weather to pass.
Bring towels, sunscreen, a swimsuit, a hat, sunglasses, and drinks. Sunglasses are especially important because the sand is highly reflective. Dress for getting wet during the sandcastle lesson, and bring food if you're planning an all-day beach outing.
