- Ages 21+ only to rent
- Operators born after January 1, 1988 need a Florida Boating Safety Course certificate unless they hold a valid boating license
- Operators need at least 2 years of experience with similar-size vessels
- No marine losses within the past 10 years
- No violations or suspensions, including auto, within the past 5 years
- No criminal convictions or no-contest pleas
- A captain is required if no one in your group meets the operator requirements
- Sign a liability waiver
- A $500 security-deposit hold applies at check-in and releases 48 hours after the rental ends if no damage occurs
