    Explore 13 miles of the Lower Gauley River, where rugged canyons frame a succession of classic whitewater rapids. Ride dam-released water through big splashes with less physical demand than the Upper Gauley.

    • Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure; arrive 45 minutes early if renting wetsuits
    • Bring sunscreen, swimwear, and sandals or river shoes with a heel strap

    • Keep pets on a leash around the base and campsite

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancel 30 days or more before your reservation for a full refund minus a 15% processing fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations less than 30 days before. Date changes cost $75 less than 1 week before, $130 less than 3 days before, or $175 on the day of the trip.
