- Follow crew instructions while aboard
- Bluefin retention is limited to up to three fish: one measuring 47–73 inches and two measuring 27–47 inches
- Commercial-size bluefin measuring 73 inches or larger must be sold
- If a commercial-size tuna is caught and sold, receive future fishing credit equal to 4% of its value; valuation can take several weeks

The crew deploys up to four rods and chooses the bait and depth. When a fish is hooked, the crew rotates everyone through reeling it in; you will not fish with an individual rod.
