This stargazing operation delivers consistently memorable experiences thanks to their impressive roster of guides. Reviewers rave about astronomers and astrophysicists like Ben, Sara, Lilly, and Andy who translate complex celestial knowledge into accessible, engaging explanations. The passion these guides bring really shines through, with multiple families mentioning how well they connected with kids while keeping adults equally fascinated. People frequently describe their tour as a trip highlight, genuinely moved by views of the Milky Way, nebulas, and planets through professional equipment. The logistics earn high marks too. They provide everything needed including camping chairs, blankets, and refreshments, plus offer convenient pickup and drop-off options. The team proactively monitors weather conditions and will reschedule tours without charge if clouds threaten to spoil the experience. One reviewer did note persistent difficulty reaching anyone by phone during business hours, which seems worth considering if you prefer booking by call rather than online. Overall though, from first contact through the actual stargazing session, most travelers find the entire operation professional and accommodating, with guides often staying beyond scheduled time to answer questions and show additional celestial objects.
We did a private stargazing tour in the Tetons with Mani and Kyle and it was the best experience of our trip to Jackson. The weather had been very overcast throughout the day, so we were worried we would not see anything but by a stroke of luck, we had a great window of pretty clear skies for our session. The stars are beautiful in Wyoming… the minimal light pollution and isolation in the National park makes the night sky breathtaking. My husband and I cannot give “Mani” and Kyle enough praise. Mani was a walking encyclopedia of everything astronomy. She could answer ANY question you had. She was also able to take high-level scientific information and “water it down” in a way the average person could understand. She was entertaining and engaging in her delivery…. For example, instead of always just telling us things, she would say things like “What shape this constellation remind you of? What planet do you think this is?” My husband and I just have so much respect for her wealth of knowledge. Mani was a literal genius and so impressive… What an amazing find she is for Wyoming Stargazing. Kyle was so awesome to be with too. He brought great energy and attitude as well. He made sure my husband and I felt comfortable throughout the night in the elements. He encouraged questions. He helped Mani control and reposition the telescope constantly… as stars move quickly! Safe to say, thanks to Mani and Kyle, we left our tour with a newfound appreciation for the stars. A must do experience for anyone visiting Jackson.
