Itinerary
Meet. Boat. Ride. Meet your instructor at Kiteboarding North Padre Island, gear up, and jump aboard for a boat ride into the secluded back bays of North Padre Island.
Escape to the Sand Flats We’ll take your group to a wide-open sand flat surrounded by miles of shallow water—away from crowded beaches, other schools, and distractions.
Rig Up & Learn the Essentials Right on the sandbar, we’ll rig the equipment and cover kite setup, wind direction, power zones, launching and landing, safety systems, water relaunching, self-rescue, and kite control.
Get in the Water Now the fun starts. You’ll progress through body dragging, board control, water starts, and your first rides with hands-on coaching every step of the way.
Built for Groups Designed specifically for families, friends, and larger parties, with additional assistance to keep the experience organized, safe, and moving while giving every rider time on the water.
Finish With a Boat Ride Home After your session, we pack up, load the boat, and cruise back.

Important details
- Participation under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not allowed.
- For each participant under 16, bring a properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Child-size life jackets are not provided.
- Follow the captain/instructor’s safety instructions and accurately describe your experience. Reckless behavior or conduct deemed unsafe may result in your lesson being refused or stopped.
- Lessons require safe weather conditions.
- Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure for check-in, loading, equipment setup, and a safety briefing. The boat leaves promptly; arriving late may reduce your lesson time.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 6 guests.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 24+ hours before departure for eligibility for a refund or rescheduling. Cancellations 12–24 hours before departure receive a partial refund or credit. Within 12 hours or for no-shows, no refund applies. Weather cancellations are rescheduled or credited. Lessons refused or stopped for safety, impairment, or misconduct are non-refundable.

No. If you're under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you during the kiteboarding lesson.
Wear secure, tight-fitting swimwear; avoid loose clothing that could fly off. Bring a towel, drinking water, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
