Explore Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary aboard the California Explorer on a guided two-tank boat dive. Dive sites are selected the morning of your trip based on ocean conditions and experience.

Important details
- Ages 10+ only
- Scuba certification required, except for student divers under the control and supervision of a certified instructor
- Complete the liability release before diving
- Arrive at 7:00 AM for the 7:45 AM departure, or 11:30 AM for the 12:15 PM departure
- Personal dive gear is not included; rental gear is available
- Requires good mental and physical fitness for strenuous diving
- Do not dive under the influence of alcohol or drugs that are contraindicated for diving
- Requires physician approval to dive while taking medication
Cancellation Policy
Rebook free more than 48 hours before your tour. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour incur a $50 rebooking fee. If the tour is canceled due to bad weather, no rebooking fee applies.

The 7:45 AM departure returns at approximately 11:30 AM. The 12:15 PM departure returns at approximately 3:30 PM.
The guide assists with navigation and identifying local plants and animals during your Monterey Bay dive. Stay near the guide if you choose to dive with them.
A refresher or guided orientation dive is available for an additional fee following a period of diving inactivity.
