Itinerary
Meet at Alaska Backcountry Adventure Tours and get geared up to ATV out to the Knik Glacier. Once out at the Glacier, we will get the inflatable paddle crafts set up and enjoy a paddle among the icebergs of the Knik Glacier. After we are done paddling, we will ride back to Alaska Backcountry Adventure Tours for the end of the tour.

The paddling portion requires meeting the American Canoe Association Essential Eligibility Criteria, including breathing independently, maintaining an airway underwater, holding your head upright without support, floating face up in a properly fitted life jacket, and safely entering, exiting, and recovering from a capsized paddlecraft. Some criteria allow reasonable assistance from a companion.
The Knik Glacier tour requires a specialized dry suit while on the water. Participation in the paddling portion requires fitting one of the available dry suits; height and weight limits apply.
