    Know before you go

    • Requires walking 1 mile on uneven crushed-gravel trail, wooden bridges, and stairs unassisted at a regular pace
    • Leave food, candy, gum, nicotine pouches, tobacco, and scented or flavored items on the boat at the observatory
    • Leave personal bear spray and firearms at home or your hotel

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be in writing. Cancel 60+ days before for a 100% deposit refund, or 30–59 days before for 50%. No refunds within 30 days or for no-shows. If weather or mechanical issues cancel the tour, rescheduling will be attempted; receive a full refund if unavailable. If your ship cancels the port stop or travel issues make you miss the tour, receive 50% of your deposit.

    An exception may be made if you need a snack for diabetes and your guide and the United States Forest Service are notified.

    Start times may change because of weather conditions, other tours, or scheduling conflicts.
