Cory clearly stands out as the star guide here, with visitors consistently praising his knowledge, professionalism, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable throughout their Mt. Rainier tours. Travelers appreciate how he balances informative commentary with well-timed stops, never rushing anyone while keeping the day flowing smoothly. He's known for going above and beyond with photo opportunities and even providing snowshoes when needed for winter hiking to spots like Myrtle Falls. The tours themselves hit a sweet spot for most visitors, offering accessible nature walks rather than strenuous hikes. Groups mention enjoying a mix of scenic viewpoints, historical information, and smaller trails that showcase the park without being physically demanding. Several first-time visitors to Mt. Rainier felt they got an excellent overview of the park, with multiple stops highlighting different aspects of the area. The booking process appears seamless, with prompt communication even for last-minute reservations, and thoughtful touches like local ice cream stops round out the experience nicely.
I was hoping to rent a car & spend a few weeks road tripping the National Parks in Washington + the Oregon Coast, but I wasn’t able to, so I booked the Mt Rainier National Park Highlights Tour & Olympic National Park Highlights Tour. I had a cloudy day for Olympic, but perfect sunny weather for Mt Rainier. (Lake Crescent was still amazing on a cloudy day). The tour guides were funny & fit as much in as possible + adjust the tour depending on the weather/season & they make the long bus rides entertaining
