Expect to get wet from the waist down. You’ll walk in and out of the river, so your shoes can get wet and muddy.
Dress for the weather and water temperatures. Bring a refillable water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and any personal river essentials. Do not wear flip flops, Crocs, or slides.
