Itinerary
Guided Kayak Tour Itinerary

Check-In & Waiver (10 minutes) Guests arrive at Napa’s Main Street Dock, check in for their reservation, and complete the required safety waiver before the tour begins.

Welcome & Safety Briefing (5 minutes) Your guide introduces the tour, reviews river safety, and fits everyone with life jackets.

Kayak Orientation (10 minutes) Guests receive a quick lesson on paddling technique, steering, and basic kayaking skills before launching.

Launch & Scenic Paddle (35–40 minutes) Paddle along the Napa River while your guide shares stories about the river’s history, local wildlife, and the development of downtown Napa’s waterfront.

Wildlife & River Highlights Along the way, guides point out birds, fish, and other wildlife commonly seen along the riverbanks.

Return Paddle (10–15 minutes) Enjoy a relaxed paddle back toward Napa’s Main Street Dock with scenic views of downtown Napa.

Dock Return & Photos (5 minutes) Return to the dock, unload kayaks, and take photos before concluding the tour.

- A completed safety waiver is required before departure
- Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- Maximum weight is 275 lbs per person
- Requires paddling a kayak for the duration of the tour
- Requires sitting upright, balancing, and entering and exiting the kayak with minimal assistance
- Life jackets must be worn and guide instructions followed throughout the tour
- This activity may not be suitable for serious back, shoulder, or mobility issues
- Anyone who appears intoxicated may be denied participation
- No storage lockers are available, and personal belongings are your responsibility
