We scheduled a 10am tour at the end of July. A few days before, we got a call asking if we could move it earlier as we would be more likely to see birds and less likely to bake in the sun. I'm so glad they asked! When we arrived, we got a printed list of birds we would be likely to see so we could check them off as we found them. Though it was in the 90s on shore, it felt cool on the water, and our birding son logged several lifers. We even saw a young alligator, and a bonus racoon. Captain Pip was knowledgeable about the different species and helped us with identifications. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
