Had an absolutely incredible experience with Captain Remo! Our group of 12 (nicknamed “the 12” by Remo himself) headed up a few weeks shy of salmon season, but Remo still took our group on an awesome boots-on-the-ground fishing trip through the remote freshwater creek area of Chichagof Island (aka “Bear Island”). The trip started off with a van ride through the old Alaskan logging trails, where Remo shared some of his very entertaining stories and experiences over the years. We got out, geared up with waders and poles Remo provided to us, and began our hike to the fishing hole. Just experiencing the remote Alaksan outdoors would have been enough, but our group ended up catching some trout as well. Our group had a fantastic time. Along the way, one of our group members (my dad) suffered an injury, to which Captain Remo responded exceptionally well. He calmly patched him up, all while keeping us all reassured that we weren’t about to become the main course for a nearby bear. Needless to say, whatever the situation, Captain Remo has got you covered!
