Raft the Weber River’s splashy Class II rapids on a guided half-day trip
2–2.5 hours
Guide, raft, return ride
Float 8 miles of the Weber River from Henefer to Taggart on a guided paddle raft through Weber Canyon. Tackle seven Class II rapids and take in canyon geology along the way.
Not suitable for pregnant women, children under 4, or people with impaired mobility. Tips are not included; 15%–25% gratuity is customary. Water shoes are available to rent for $5 per pair.
Small private groups: full refund with 7 days' notice. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. Schedule changes allowed up to 48 hours before, if available. Large/corporate/custom: 50% refundable up to 7 days.
Arrive 30 minutes before your trip start time so you can check in, get fitted with a life jacket and paddle, and attend the safety talk. Late arrivals are usually not accommodated and are non-refundable.
Wear lightweight, quick-drying clothes and water sandals (closed-toe recommended; flip-flops are not). Bring a hat, sunglasses, a full water bottle for each person, and any needed medications (and tell your guide). Pack a rain jacket on rainy days, a warm layer on cool days, and a change of clothes to leave in your car.
Do not bring coolers or backpacks on the raft. Anything you bring can get wet, lost, or broken, so leave jewelry and valuables at home or in your car.

Destination Sports consistently earns praise for its exceptional guides who clearly love what they do. Reviewers mention guides by name again and again—Rachel, Lars, Trixie, Dawna, Oz, and Donna all get shout-outs for being knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled at making trips memorable. The crew seems genuinely passionate about sharing outdoor experiences, from river rafting to snowshoeing, and that enthusiasm translates into fun, safe adventures. The rafting trips deserve a quick reality check: this is mellow, scenic floating rather than intense whitewater rapids. One reviewer described it as "a lazy river with a couple bumps," which sets appropriate expectations. That said, families and first-timers absolutely love it, and the beautiful scenery along the Weber River combined with engaging guides makes it a hit. Equipment rentals get solid marks too, with easy pickup and drop-off logistics. The overall vibe is welcoming and accommodating, perfect for travelers wanting a relaxed outdoor experience in the Park City area without major adrenaline or technical difficulty.
Our family of 6 just went on a rafting trip on the Weber River from Henefer to Taggart, with Trixie as our guide. Trixie is very experienced, confident, and gave clear directions to help us navigate the river successfully. We had so much fun, plus, she took some great family photos of us while on the river. "I like it, I like it!!"
