Head out on a 5-hour halibut fishing trip aboard a 24 ft cabin cruiser with a small group and no experience required. Gear and a light lunch are provided so you can focus on fishing.
Guide gratuity and Alaska fishing license are not included; confirm any additional costs with Greetwell before booking. A $20 charter halibut stamp is required for anglers 18+ who intend to retain halibut and cannot be purchased online. Halibut fishing is closed on Tuesdays from May 13 to September 9.
Full refund up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time. If your ship cancels their port or arrives late, you get a full refund if the trip cannot be completed in the time allowed.
Plan to pay separately for your Alaska fishing license and guide gratuity. If you want to keep halibut and you’re age 18+, you also need a charter halibut stamp (it cannot be purchased online). If your guide buys your fishing license at the marina, there is an additional service fee per person.
Wear or bring extra layers. Bring a camera, sunglasses, and sunblock. Bring cash for your fishing license and a credit card for shipping your fish.
You get bibs, a jacket, rubber boots, rubber gloves, hats/stocking cap, and socks. You also get bottled water and a light lunch with salmon spread, crackers, fruit cups, and a cookie.
