Important details
- Moderate walking along trails and pathways is required. Accessible restrooms and pathways reach the beach lookout, but beach access may be limited by natural terrain.
- Wheelchair-accessible transportation requires reservations at least 48 hours before service and is subject to limited availability.
- For a Hawaiʻi resident or active military ticket, present a valid Hawaiʻi ID or U.S. Active Military ID, respectively, at pickup in Waikiki. Eligibility applies individually. Without the required ID, bay admission is not provided; you'll need to purchase admission separately at the arrival kiosk, at a charge not included in the listed price.
- Pets are not allowed; service animals are permitted.
- Use the package transportation to reach Hanauma Bay and receive your admission wristband. You cannot collect it at the bay or arrive independently.
- Keep your wristband visible for bay entry and the return shuttle. Watch the mandatory safety video during the ride to the bay.
- Use only reef-safe sunscreen. Alcohol, glass containers, large tents, oversized coolers, smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, drones, balls, and other flying objects are prohibited.
- Dry off before boarding the return vehicle.
- Use your zoo tickets within 90 days of package purchase. Everyone on the package must visit the zoo together; tickets cannot be split across visits. Present your confirmation at the zoo ticket window.
- Participation includes accepting a release of liability covering the transportation operator and the City and County of Honolulu, including claims arising from negligence.
- Allow at least 30 minutes to walk back from the beach to the shuttle pickup area before your scheduled return.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 48 hours before service incur a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 48 hours before service and no-shows are non-refundable. Allow 10–12 working days for refunds to be processed back to your card.

No. The package includes zoo admission, but not transportation to or from the zoo. The zoo is open daily from 10am to 4pm.

Your return shuttle defaults to three hours after arrival at Hanauma Bay. If that time is unavailable, you'll be assigned the next available return shuttle.
