Important details

• A valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement is required. Bring it on arrival; failure to present it results in cancellation without refund.
• Included insurance covers riders ages 21+. Riders under 21 require their own comprehensive insurance and a motorcycle-endorsed license.
• Charges for fuel, violations, damage, loss, roadside service, and late returns are not included in the listed price and are assessed separately when applicable.
• Return the motorcycle with a full tank of 92-octane gasoline. A $25 fuel charge applies if it is not returned full.
• Taking this motorcycle off-road or on the south-side route to or from Hana carries a minimum $500 service charge.
• You are responsible for motorcycle damage, including vandalism and mechanical damage caused by negligent operation or missed maintenance, plus lost rental revenue during repairs. You are also responsible for lost or stolen tools, tires, and accessories.
• A $50 charge applies for each lost key, flat tire, dead battery, missing registration card, or missing insurance card. A missing license plate costs $125. A lost or damaged helmet carries a minimum $100 charge, including scratches or scuffs.
• Tire-changing and roadside-service costs are your responsibility, as are parking, traffic, and other legal fines.
• Keep the motorcycle on Maui and on paved roads. Do not use the south-side route to or from Hana; only dual-sport models are permitted there. All motorcycles are tracked by Global Positioning System (GPS).
• You are the only authorized driver. Do not race, ride recklessly, drive under the influence, tow vehicles or trailers, transport people or property for hire, or carry surfboards, kayaks, canoes, or gliders. Violating operating rules ends your right to use the motorcycle and invalidates insurance coverage.
• Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Complete the required waiver before riding; signing in person on arrival is available.
• Check the engine oil level at each refueling. Lock the motorcycle and remove the keys whenever it is not in use. Do not attach equipment or other items without written permission.
• Make an immediate police report for any damage and a police report within 2 hours of any accident. Failure to report or cooperate can leave you responsible for rental charges until the motorcycle is recovered. For a missing or stolen motorcycle, return the keys to avoid continuing rental charges.
• The motorcycle may be substituted because of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
• Return the motorcycle by the agreed date and time. Returns 30 minutes or more late incur a minimum one-hour charge. If a late return causes the next reservation to be lost, you are liable for that reservation's full charges. Motorcycles not returned by their due-back date are reported to police as missing.
