• Arrive at Honolulu International Airport at least 1 hour before your flight departure
• Self-check in for both flight segments at the Hawaiian Airlines kiosk or ticket counter

• Names on airline tickets must exactly match government-issued photo ID or passport
• Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes for sharp, uneven lava surfaces
• Bring a jacket or long-sleeved shirt for cool park temperatures
• Volcanic fumes can be hazardous; people with heart or breathing problems, infants, young children and pregnant women should avoid areas where fumes persist
• Ages 12–17 must travel with an adult age 18 or older; infants under 2 sit on an adult’s lap and do not occupy a seat
• Flight times may change, so check your flight status before departure
• An additional per-person charge may apply if an alternate interisland flight is needed; the amount varies
• Airline name or date changes may incur a fee of up to $250 plus any fare difference per segment
