The guides here really shine through in the reviews. Kenny, Pali, Alex, Kieran, and Ashton all get enthusiastic shoutouts for their patience, local knowledge, and genuine island hospitality. Most visitors caught fish and appreciated the relaxed vibe, especially families with kids who found the guides attentive and helpful with baiting hooks, casting lines, and sharing Hawaiian fish names. Several people mention getting solid recommendations for other island spots too. There are some operational hiccups worth noting. A handful of customers struggled with last-minute cancellations and delays, and a few felt the equipment was pretty basic for the experience. Communication seems hit or miss, with some praising quick responses while others had trouble getting replies. The experience appears to vary depending on which guide you get and possibly how you book. That said, the majority of recent visitors had a genuinely good time, and many say they'd fish with these guys again.
My little boy and I had a great time fishing with Kenny! We caught several fish and the event wasn’t a huge time commitment, just a nice morning event. Very relaxed.
