Important details
- A valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement is required. Bring it for arrival; failure to present it results in cancellation without refund.
- The included insurance requires age 21 or older. Under-21 riders require their own comprehensive insurance and a motorcycle-endorsed license.
- Fuel and conditional service, damage, and late-return charges are not included in the listed price. Return the bike with a full tank of 92-octane gasoline; otherwise, a $25 fuel charge applies.
- Taking this bike off-road or on the south-side route to or from Hana incurs a minimum $500 service charge.
- A $50 charge applies for each lost key, flat tire, dead battery, missing registration card, or missing no-fault insurance card. A missing license plate costs $125. A lost or damaged helmet incurs a minimum $100 charge.
- You are responsible for damage, lost rental revenue while the bike is being repaired, lost or stolen tools and accessories, tire-changing costs, and roadside service. Mechanical damage caused by negligent operation or failure to perform normal maintenance is also your responsibility.
- Parking and traffic fines, other legal violations, and related claims, legal expenses, or vehicle-recovery costs are your responsibility and are not included in the listed price.
- Use smooth, paved roads only. Stay on Maui and avoid the south-side route to or from Hana. All motorcycles are tracked by GPS.
- Only you may drive the rented bike. Do not sublease it, use it to transport passengers or property for hire, race, ride recklessly, tow anything, or ride under the influence. Follow applicable laws; violating the operating rules ends your right to use the bike and invalidates insurance coverage.
- Do not carry surfboards, kayaks, canoes, or gliders. Attaching equipment or other items requires written permission.
- Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Complete the waiver before riding; you can sign it in person on arrival.
- Check the engine oil at each refueling. When the bike is not in use, lock it and remove the keys. File a police report immediately after an accident, within 2 hours.
- If the bike is missing or stolen, return the keys. Failure to return them, file a required police report, or cooperate can leave you responsible for rental charges until the bike is recovered.
- Return the bike in its original condition, apart from ordinary wear, by the agreed return date and time. Check for your belongings before returning it.
- Returns 30 minutes or more late incur at least one hour of additional rental charges. A late return that causes the next reservation to be lost can make you liable for that reservation's full charges. Bikes not returned by the due-back date are reported to police as missing vehicles.
