The crew here really makes the experience. Names like Austin and Sofia, Brandon and Stone, and Jim and Keiko come up repeatedly, with reviewers gushing about how they transformed what could be just a boat ride into something memorable. These aren't just drivers taking you out on the water – they're genuinely enthusiastic guides who navigate to the best wildlife spots, snap plenty of photos for you, and keep everyone entertained with good music and local knowledge. The sunset cruise seems to be the most popular option, and people absolutely rave about it. You'll likely spot sea turtles (nearly guaranteed based on these reviews), tropical fish through the glass bottom, and if you're lucky, dolphins or seals. The fish feeding is a highlight, and there's a fun BYOB policy if you want to bring drinks along. That said, there's one potential letdown worth noting. At least one person mentioned the description promised a swimming stop that never happened, which was disappointing enough to dock a star from an otherwise great experience. Another reviewer felt the marine life viewing was pretty dependent on the crew chumming the water, though this seems to be a minority opinion. Overall though, the vibe is overwhelmingly positive – families love it, couples call it unforgettable, and multiple people say if you can only do one thing in Honolulu, this should be it. The combination of knowledgeable crew, reliable wildlife sightings, and that magical Hawaiian sunset seems to deliver exactly what visitors are hoping for.
We had a wonderful tour. Unlike other companies this is locally owned and operated. Ina and Tristan were able to discuss local events with us. We live on Oahu so we very much discussing current Oahu events. One of them lives on the North Shore which was severely damage by Kona 2.
