    Highlights

    Ride through the historic Hoosac Valley and look out toward fall foliage on the mountains on both sides of the train. Enjoy a seated excursion through the valley's autumn landscape.

    • Listen to historic narration along the route
    • Ride aboard New Haven 41 and Baltimore & Ohio 1960, two classic Budd Rail Diesel Cars
    • Settle into coach seating or First Class, featuring 24 long-distance coach seats and four booth-style tables

    Important details

    • The historic railcars cannot accommodate standard-width, non-transfer wheelchairs. A ramp provides level boarding.
    • Table-for-four seating has no room for infants riding in laps.
    • Only trained service animals are permitted. Emotional support, comfort, and companion animals are not allowed.
    • Do not park in the Berkshire Mill lot near the platform; it is not public parking.
    • Train equipment may be substituted.
    • Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. Check in at the green railcar on the station platform using the name on your reservation to collect your tickets. The train departs on schedule and generally will not wait for late arrivals.
