Itinerary
- Get to know your instructor and the rest of your group at the meeting point.
- Short safety rundown, we keep this nice and simple for your first dive
- Get familiarized with your gear
- Go over 3 basic problem solving skills
- Walk 75 yards down to the water with your gear
- Enter the water and float while you put your fins and mask on
- Practice getting comfortable breathing through your regulator in and out of the water
- Practice the 3 problem solving skills at the surface
- Descend into very shallow water and experience breathing underwater
- Learn how to clear water out of your regulator and mask and locate your regulator no matter where it goes
- Enjoy swimming underwater and exploring Maui’s beautiful coral reefs

Important details
- Ages 10+ only
- Requires reasonably good physical health
- Requires comfort swimming unassisted in the ocean
- English comprehension and speaking ability required for safety
- Complete the online waiver before arrival
- A signed doctor's medical form is required if your medical questionnaire indicates one, including for prescription medication other than birth control
- Bring a valid photo ID if joining as a certified diver
- Avoid elevations above 1,000 feet for 12 hours after your dive
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 72 hours before start for a 20% fee. Cancellations within 72 hours are charged 100%. No refund if a required doctor's note is unavailable or if you do not complete the dive.
